Abstract

The aims of this research are: Knowing the characteristics of lowland rice farmers in Tebing Tinggi Village, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency.Knowing the implementation of lowland rice farming extension in Tebing Tinggi Village, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. Knowing farmers' perceptions of the role of rice extension workers in Tebing Tinggi Village, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. With a sample size of 38 people from 240 farmers who are members of combined farmer groups. The research method used is the survey method. The research was designed as qualitative research. The data used in the research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data obtained directly from respondents' answers via questionnaires. Secondary data is research sources obtained indirectly through intermediary media obtained through related agencies, namely the Kuantan Singingi Regency Food Crops Service, the Kuantan Singingi Regency Central Statistics Agency, the Benai District Agriculture and Fisheries Service, as well as publications in the form of scientific journals and online sites.
