Abstract

Oyster mushrooms are a sought-after food ingredient due to their high nutritional content, significant health benefits, and a production process free from synthetic chemical fertilizers. This study aims to analyze the profits and efficiency of the Henci Oyster Mushroom Business. The research method employed is a case study approach, gathering information through direct observations and interviews. Conducted at the Henci Oyster Mushroom Business in Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City, the research spanned from November 2023 to April 2024. Data analysis techniques used include cost analysis, revenue analysis, profit analysis, and business efficiency analysis. The results show that the profit of the Henci Oyster Mushroom Business in one production period (December 2023-March 2024) amounted to Rp 19,279,570. The Return Cost Ratio for the same period was 1.63. A Return Cost Ratio greater than 1 indicates that the Henci Oyster Mushroom Business operates efficiently. The implications of these findings highlight the importance of management and efficiency in sustainable agricultural business operations to enhance profitability and support local economic sustainability.
